Precarious Pisa
Kdo by neznal šikmou věž v Pise?

Welcome to Pisa, one of the most famous slavný cities in Tuscany. In this video, let us explore prozkoumat some of the must-visit attractions, their history, and share sdílet a few tips on what to see and what to avoid vyhnout se vyhnout se [/JAZYKO_TOOLTIP] to make the most of your trip. Let’s get started!
Of course, you go to Pisa to see the iconic Leaning Tower, but it can be quite crowded přelidněná and touristy, and it has become a bit of a tourist trap past . To enter the monuments památky on the Campo dei Miracoli, you need stand in a long queue fronta to get a ticket unless ledaže you buy it online beforehand předem .
On the Campo dei Miracoli you can admire: obdidovat
- Te Baptistery – it is quite nice but the one in Florence is much more beautiful. This one is actually skutečně much nicer from outside than from inside.
- The Camposanto – this was my favourite spot on the Campo de Miracoli. It is actually a luxurious indoor cemetery hřbitov with beautiful statues sochy and frescos fresky .
- The Cathedral – it’s free of chargé zadarmo . So give it a go.
- Opera del Duomo Museum – we didn’t have time to visit that one but it displays zobrazovat scale měřítko models of buildings in the Piazza, an archaeological collection, and some modern paintings.
- Sinopie Museum – now, this was really interesting as it displays the preliminary předběžné drawings in the plaster omítka just before the artist starts the fresco. These drawings are called the sinopie. It will help you understand and distinguish rozlišit what the frescoes in the monuments represent.
- And of course the Tower!
To go up the tower, you need to buy a ticket for a particular konkrétní time, and be there at least 15 minutes in advance to stand in another queue. Oh, and you mustn’t bring any kind of bag (not even a little handbag) up the tower. You have to leave it in the baggage depository úschovna zavazadel on the other side of the Campo dei Miracoli and, not surprisingly, you need to stand in a queue to leave it there and then you stand in another queue to pick it up vyzvednout .
The tickets:
If you want to go only up the tower , it will cost you 20 €
The tower and all the monuments on the Campo dei Miracoli combined ticket will cost you 27€.
Individual monuments (except the tower) will cost you 7€ each
All monuments together without the tower will cost you 10€ for a combined ticket.
So a good idea it to buy the tickets in advance online where you can also make the time reservation for the tower.
Before we go on, let’s have a look at some fun facts about the tower.
- The tower was always tilted nakloněný . It started leaning naklánět already during během the construction. But it leaned in the opposite direction than now. The builders tried to make it straight rovný and the tower started leaning the opposite direction.
- So over 180 years builders tried to make it straight by adding přidáváním materiall here and there. So if you look at the tower properly pořádně , it actually looks like a banana.
- In 1989 the tower closed for the public as it leaned already 4.5 meters from the upright vzpřímené position. There were all kinds of extravagant ideas how to fix opravit, napravit the problém, including putting a huge “freezer” in the ground to create a permafrost to stabilize the foundations základy
But let’s go on! As you wander bloudit away from the crowds, trying to get the best photo of themselves supporting podpírat the leaning tower, don’t miss Piazza dei Cavallieri. This historic square is home to the prestigious prestižní Scuola Normale Superiore, one of Italy’s most renowned proslulé universities. Another beautiful square is Piazza Dante.
You can also take a walk on the city walls. The 2-kilometre walk is opened from Friday to Sunday.
Our next stop is the Arno River, which runs through the heart of Pisa. Take a stroll procházku along its banks břehu , enjoy the picturesque malebné views, and soak nasát in the relaxing atmosphere. Do not miss the strangely placed church Santa Maria della Spina form 13th century. It is right on the river bank of Arno.
One of hidden gems drahokamů is the Giardino Scotto with a fortress Fortezza Nuova, a peaceful klidný park away from the crowds. Enjoy a relaxing picnic, take a leiseruly klidnou walk, or simply sit back and relax. It’s a perfect spot to unwind uvolnit se and escape the crowds.
If you are a fan of art, do not miss the Palazzo Blu (or the Blue Palace). It is one of the most exciting art galleries in the city – with recent nedávné shows featuring Salvador Dalì, Pablo Piccasso, Joan Miró and others. The palace also includes zahrnovat a cool café and bookshop at the back for an afternoon spent with an espresso and a good book.
Now, let’s talk about food! Pisa, like the rest of Tuscany, vibrant culinary scene pestrá kulinářská scéna , and one place you should definitely rozhodně visit is the local market místní trh in Piazza Vettovaglie .

10. throught versus through it seems to me like “pupil trap” 🙂
Jo, jo, ona to je totiž ta nejčastější chyba a vede bohužel i ke špatné výslovnosti. Proto jsme to tam dala. Ale není to pupil trap, protože tady máte vždy jedničku z hvězdičkou, protože je důležitější sednout si k tomu, než udělat to bez chyby. (No, však víte, jak to mám s chybama já, že? 😀 :D)
