Hello. My name is Magda. My passion is English. It is a gateway to a world of information, history and interesting facts from all over the world. And last but not least, to taking care of myself. And that’s why I’m here.
Hi guys! I am Petra and I’ve been studying with Jazyko for 3 months. I consider to know English as very important skill in contemporary world and thank to these courses I try to find sometime for studying English every day (almost every day 🙂 )… I can see it is quite hard to keep my ‘English level’, especially if I usually don’t need English in my everyday life and this at least a nice way how to keep the same level or even make it a little better step by step.
Hello everybody,
my name is Monika. I’m 33 years old. I have two children. My son is 5 years old and my daughter is 2 years old. I am on maternity leave at this time. Before I have been working as an accountant. I am married. Our family live in the small town near by České Budějovice. I started learning English, because this year we started to travel with carvan to abroad and I would like to speak English without stress. And I think it is necessary speak English at the present time.
Hallo, my name is Jana and I am 62 years old. I am married and we live with my husband in a small village Omlenička near from Český Krumlov. My three daughters are already adults, but none of them have any children. My husband has two adults daughters and the older of them has three daughters. Together we have five daughters and three granddaughters 🙂 I am already retired, but I still work: part-time at the Old people’s home as a carer and also as a volunter. My greatest challenge with what I ever have done for a living was to start my career as self-employed with my family in 1990, after ” Velvet revolution”. English language I started to learn when I was studying at a high school. But the learning is a neverending story. Every time is the greatest challenge for me speaking with a native speaker!
Hello, I’m Lenka and I’m 47 years old. I’m married and I have two children (teenagers). I live with my family in the medieval monastery in Zlatá Koruna near Český Krumlov. I work as director the monastery and this job is my dream job. I prepare two big new expositions for visitors but I have lots of problems because isn’t enough money for these projects. The first exposition will be baroque “chemist’s” with various chemist’s equipment, containers, ointments and colours mixtures. The second exposition will be baroque school because in monastery remain well preserved unique school paintings from 18th century.
I’m learning English because to the monastery comes a lot of people from abroad and I would like to tell them about history of the monastery in English.
And what is my greatest challenge in learning English? I would like not to be afraid of communication.
Hello, I’m Ivana I’m 57 years old, I’m married and I have three children and two grandchildren. My oldest daughter lives with her husband and two children in the USA, state New York and this is my main reason to improve my English skills.
I have a beautiful job with my husband, we are restorers and I’m also yoga teacher. These two activities make me happy. As a yoga therapy teacher I focus on holistic methods of therapy ( a physical and breathing exercise as well as dietetics and healthy lifestyle).
I’m keen on swimming and I like to swim in an open water. I also like cold water and I do Wim Hof method.
Hi Ivana! It’s great to have you with us. I hope you enjoy this course and thank you for your support. 🙂
