Good afternoon. In view of the fact that this is my the fourth or fifth course of English at Jazyko I’ve introduce myself several times before. But repeating is important so I am going to try it once again. My name is Irena and I am 62 years old. I live in a small village near Příbram. My hobbies are reading books, travelling, walking with my dog, going to the theatres, gardening and of course learning English. I want to be better in all English skills because I want to watch movies in original without subtitles and fluently communicate in English with native people.

Hi, my name is Jirka. I am 55 years old. I live in Nezvěstice, it’s a village near Plzeň. I am retired. Previously I used to work as a electrician. I like to read books and walk a dog. My hobbies are gardening and walking to the countryside. I hate washing windows and ironing. I want to learn English because most of the information is in English and I also want to read Harry Potter in the original and understand American movies without subtitles.
Nice to meet to everybody, I am Eva from Litoměřice. I am librarien, I like my job very much, because I love books and reading. I wrotte several books also. That is my favourite hobby. But still I like walking to nature also, watching movies, going to the theatre.
I practise yoga, I dislike hard music and running also, how come someone wrotte here 🙂

My name is Marcela. I am forty-three years old. I live in Kladno and I work for Lego. I like my job because we produce toys for children. I am an engineer. I prepare all data for production. I need English for my job because I communicate with my foreign colleagues. And I need English for traveling too. I like traveling with my partner. We have visited a lot of places and we plan to visit Mexiko because we have friends in there.
I like cycling and hiking. We often go by bike in Czech Republic and in Europe for example Poland, Germany, Italy. We love traveling by bike at long distances.

I have been diving for 15 years and free diving 10 years only recreationally. I love the feeling of freedom during free diving. I like historical novels from from Vlastimil Vondruška and Hana Whitton. I have finished reading Gentleman in Moscow-it is a very nice book.

Hi Janis, pleased to meet you. My favorite writers are Bernard Minier, Rober Bryndza and very popular Slovak crime author Dominik Dan. I also like spy series of Daniel Silva. But the most popular for me is Stieg Larsson and his trilogy Millennium. I was absolutely excited about it and I also saw movies made by this books.

Yes, I enjoy the course very much. 😍 I have been studying English for a long time. I started at elementary school in the 90s and continued at high school but there were no results. I started again in 2010 and in 2012 I did the new Maturita exam at level B1. Unfortunately, after that, I stopped studying and I forgot almost everything. Now I have gone back to studying one year ago and I’m enjoying all the ways I can learn English. It’s completely different from the 90s and much more fun.
And I started learning French last fall, so I’m at the beginning. 😉
